Zarano marches to the front with a mighty grin seating himself somewhere near the dancers all eyes fixed there until a barmaid comes around at that point he demands mead and meat!

Flandil's first task is also to get a room, have a bath, and clean up.
He then makes his presence known in the common room, ordering the most expensive food & wine on the menu. He attempts to engage Hector in conversation regarding tips for the tourist visiting Verbosh.

For now we move Patronus to the Goblin.
AT THE GOBLIN The rooms are all full, but they have camping out the back. The proprietor apologizes, but since the troubles started in the city, many people are afraid to sleep there. He has baths, but they are cold water only. The only hot water bath is in the city at the Happy Lady Bath House. Stabling is easily arranged. It is 1 silver for stabling, 1 silver for camping, 1 silver for a bath. You could probably get a room in the city, although the price would be much higher
AT THE HIGHWAY HOUSE Zarano orders a tankard of mead from a buxom waittress. It tastes cool and crisp with a hint of heather in the honey. A platter of smoking ribs and baked beans acompanies it. He digs in with a satisfied sigh after paying 2 gold for the lot

Flandil twists his mouth with dissatisfaction when he hears the bad new regarding the lack of rooms and hot baths. "And what might this trouble in the city be concerning, my good man?" he questions Hector.

"You haven't heard? The place is overrun by spiders. And I mean big ones - big as a horse! They only come out at night. The Verbosh army has been mobilized to patrol the streets. Most think it is a Spider Temple experiment gone wrong, but the priests of Yezud aren't talking. They ARE hiring adventurers to try to help them contain the mess they made though. There's good coin to be made if you don't mind being sucked dry by a spider!"

Kell says with enthusiasm, "Camping out back is fine with me, as long as you've got ale for me to drink and food for me to eat I'll be happy!"
Kell scratches his beard and adds, "And I'll pay for yer cold water bath, too. Yer got soap, ain't ya? After being on the road for so long a good scrub to cut back on the vermin is in order."

Flandil seriously considers going into Verbosh in any case, such is his desire for a hot bath and comfortable accommodations. ((OOC: How long is it currently until sundown?)) Flandil gives Hector 1sp as a gratuity for his time so far. He inquires of Hector as to directions to the Happy Lady Bath House, and a well-to-do inn preferable situated nearby

This aught to be good," grins Gallaine to her companions as she scans the crowd.
If she is satisfied there is no immediate threat, she will approach the bar and order whatever the local beverage is
Gallaine pushes to the closest of the three bars, near the dwarf band. She yells for the best of the local product. The bartender looks down at her. "Eh? Local beverage? It's all local. Ye be an elf, I see. Not see many of ye here - mostly dwarves and goblins. I hear ye elf gals like the sweet stuff. Try some honey mead, made from the honey of giant bees.". He takes a cool jug and pours out a cup of mead.
"O for a draught of vintage! that hath been Cool'd a long age in the deep-delvèd earth, Tasting of Flora and the country-green, Dance, and Provençal song, and sunburnt mirth!
I be a poet in my spare time, ye know. You're pretty, but not as well developed as those gals on stage." He points at the dancing women in various stages of undress, all who seem to have been chosen for their prominent talents. "It might take some effort for ye to get a job here without some sort of enhancement"
