Josiane will be happy to carry the stone in her backpack should Dorgan wish it.
She will also linger anxiously at the mouth of the passage until all the party have passed through. No-one should be left alone down here. The loss of Sir Pelenwin and Wibert grieves her still.
Dorgan will put the Marrowstone in Josiane's pack, with a nod of thanks, and go back to his 1H axe and shield setup. He'll stand with her until Dieter and Olaf come along.
Gustave pauses before the intersection, squatting and turning back to those in tow.
"Desmond. Mondes", he whispers, 'this would seem an ideal place to show your talents; use your twin noggins to check both passages at once."
He grins in the lantern light.
"And while you are there, perhaps you could cast a hobbit eye or four about for hidden nasties"
Desmond tries counting how many eyes they'll need for the Gustave's request...
"We only HAVE two heads...", he mutters as he steps forward to first examine the intersection for traps, then silmutaneously looks both ways, THEN searches the intersection for secret passages.

The Halfling fighter creeps into the intersection and then Desmond/Mondes look either way simultaneously. Magnificent!
The lantern light doesn't penetrate the dark passages very far, but Desmond (looking left) spies a passage in a state of some disrepair. There are a few flags knocked out of the walls here and there, and the faint acrid odour from the cellar is in the air...
Mondes looks right and sees a neat and tidy passage. Perhaps 40ft on he can scarcely make out the outline of a door directly ahead.
Meanwhile, Olaf, Dieter, Dorgan and Josiane follow after the rest of the group, entering the passage behind Ulric.

"Perhaps we should see of one of these loops back around to the second door in the smithy," Guntrum opines. "That'd leave less unexplored between us and the way out. Oth'rn that, the clean one may give more info about our mysterious clockmaker, although, I'm not opposed to getting dirty, er dirtier."
Once a trap-sweeper has given the all-clear, Highbough will check for secret doors, starting by pulling/twisting the torch sconce.
Once the leading persons have continued into the passage way to the right and thus made room for Highbough to enter the intersection, he regards the wall mount for a torch with some suspicion. Then gives it a physical working over, tugging, twisting and pushing it in every which way.

However, it is firmly attached to the wall by three long bolts driven into the face of a solid rock. Moreover, rust and corrosion has seen it fastened implacably to the wall. It will not so much as budge, and no secret passage or subtle portal is revealed to the old Elf.

The right hand passage runs more or less parallel with the rear wall of the basement, and quite soon present another T intersection, again with an empty torch scone on the wall.
From here you can continue directly ahead, or turn perpendicular to the left. Only 10ft down this left turn there is a closed door, while the passage ahead continues on into the dark.

"Our cellars are...extensive", muses Gutave to no-one in particular, "Ah, but were they full of wine! It would be like the Cave of Duke Kimbo of the Nose."
"Still, we have not yet reached their limits it would seem, eh my most perspicacious of halflings?", he adds, nodding to Desmond/Mondes , then continuing without waiting for a reply, "Perhaps we should open this door and see what it holds - then it may be time for council on whether to go on or not."
"I hear rumblings of displeasure from behind us", the last whispered behind his hand with smiling eyes.
