Josiane gives an inward sigh of relief.

"Agreed. Back to the light. This place is heavy with the chill of the dead."

Very well... the company backtrack up the steep stair and emerge into the dazzling daylight in the cemetery. The afternoon is getting on now... and clouds are beginning to gather in the sky.

Other than yourselves, the cemetery is quiet and still.

What now?

Desmond says, "Let's head back to the inn. I need a good night's rest!"

"Agreed," says Josiane; "I have much to think upon."

She offers a grateful smile to all the members of the company; "I cannot thank you enough for your assistance, my friends. The Saint willing, tomorrow will bring us answers to this unholy puzzle. Now let us seal this tomb and disguise our presence here as best we may."

She scans the surroundings for black birds; "The fewer who mark our presence here the better."

Very good.

Any obvious evidence of your foray is disguised or removed, and the tomb is then sealed.

The company then gratefully head back to the Plough and Furrow, where they rejoin their companions in the common room for a meal, and an early night.
