Now Ulric and Pelenwin shake their heads and recover their wits, while the three Hobgoblin troopers who succumbed to the ensorcellment are blinking their eyes in confusion, and also arriving at a dumb wakefulness.

Can Wibert reach the sleeping Goblin's to cut their throats before they get a chance to wait, if so he will do it. Else he will shoot his bow at the approaching targets.

"Waaaa?" cried Gustave as his last remaining not-entirely-soiled piece of livery disappears down the wargs gullet (along with a not so small piece of his flesh). "Little doggy...you make The Gustave verrrrry unhappy!" he retaliates, following words with steel.

Ulric rouses himself from his own enchantment and curses in an ancient tongue under his breath. He sees his comrades engaged in battle on one side of the stream, and six more warg riders approaching from the other.
OOC: Is the new group of six riders in range of either the Somnolence or Sufferance?

Desmond attempts to take a swing at one of the just-waking foes, if possible. (Still not sure how the whole Desmond/Mondes interaction is supposed to work...)

If they start to ford the stream they will be in range of the Somnolence. They would have to be closer still for the Sufferance.

Edited action:
Ulric holds his position and waits to see if the additional set of warg riders crosses the stream. If they do, he will unleash the Somnolence yet again centered on the middle rider. If not he will hold his spell.
While he is waiting to see what they do, Ulric waves his arms, chants in strange, demonic tongues and gestures toward the party of riders.

Wibert fires Padrig's shortbow at second party of Warg riders [1d20! Again!] while Ulric feigns the summoning of an awful magic... Wibert's arrow [2dd=5,3] punches the leading Hobgoblin through the neck, and he tumbles lifeless from the saddle.
In the greater melee initiative is rolled [1d6; Gustave=1, Victor=5, Koch=6, Olaf=6, Dieter=6, Wargs=3].
Victor, Koch, Olaf and Dieter fall upon the outnumbered Wargs [5d20=18,12,14,13,11] raising hammer, axe and sword repeatedly. The Men are possessed of a keen rage and all four make bloody contact with the rattled enemy [Victor 1dd=2, Koch 1dd=3, Olaf 2dd=2,5, Dieter 2dd=2,2] and bloody wounds of 2, 3, 7 and 6 hit points are dealt amid the hacking, crunching, slashing weapons. Victor wounds the same Warg a second tim with his hand axe, but still the wiry animal is not slain. Koch and Olaf both hack into the greatest of the Wargs, but it is not felled, and neither is its lieutenant, despite suffering a mighty strike from Dieter.
Meanwhile, Pelenwin pulls himself to his feet as the Wargs retaliate against [1=Gustave, 2=Victor, 3=Koch, 4=Olaf, 5=Dieter, 6=Pelenwin; 3d6=1,2,6]. [3d20=9,13,16] Gustave scarcely manages to avoid the huge snapping fangs that pursue him, but Victor is not so quick, and is dragged down by the savage Warg for [2dd=1,5] 5 hit points! He is sorely wounded. And poor Pelenwin has barely recovered his footing when he is bowled over again and then mauled for [2dd=5,6] 6 hit points and incapacitated!
Gustave at last sees his opportunity [1d20=18] and lunges behind his sword [2dd=4,6] piercing the largest monster for 7 hit points, puncturing its black heart!
Meanwhile Desmond and Highbough move in to dispatch the startled Hobgoblins who are recovering their wits [2d20=13,2]. Desmond puts Mads' axe to good work [2dd=5,4] dealing 5 hit points, but the blow isn't fatal, while Highbough's target scampers out of reach before he can attack safely.
