Don't want to be unrealistic, so I'm just hoping we actually make it to the hinterlands before my two year old enrolls in middle school...

Ulric has just ticked over enough XP for 4th level.
Josiane has just acquired enough XP for 3rd level.

Both will require a good night's rest to level up.

Nice, and all Ulric did was summon a bunch of rats.

But no, Ulric will continue push that we secure our residence before we once again go gallivanting off into the wilderness getting lost, running out of food, getting ambushed by hobgoblins, losing most of our loot, etc.

Looking at 152 houses before deciding which one to buy: Sucks for about 9.5 months
Not having to move again because we found the house we could stay in for 30 years: Priceless.

Folks, I live near Pensacola, Fl. With Issac bearing down on us I might be offline for an extended period starting Tuesday. If I disappear please NPC Olaf or move him to the sidelines. I'll be back when I can get back, and...cross your fingers..
maybe Issac will miss me.

That's dedication, my friend. We looked at many fewer houses but let's hope we last in ours as long as you! With the interest rate I got on the mortgage, I'm content to stay put for as long as possible.
