 Middle-Oerth
« Thread Started on Jul 15, 2012, 7:58am »

Over on Dragonsfoot are a couple of interesting threads by "James the Just" that are designed to tie together Oerth with Tolkien's Middle-earth as well as our real world. If you don't venture to DF much, you might check these out. :D

A thread called simply Middle-Oerth takes an event from M-e that sounds a lot like one from Oerth's history and uses that to build a common history.

Another thread, called Mille-Oerth Map, takes Lake Geneva as a starting point for Greyhawk and then extrapolates longitude and latitude for other points of Oerth onto our earth.

None of this is canon, of course, but it is really cool! ;D
