We are getting some nice entries, but we need a lot more. One of the reasons we run these contests is to get our contributors a chance at cool prizes and renumeration that the magazine can't offer because we don't function at a big enough scale. Lots of you have the talent, visual sense of humor, or both to win. We want to see more entries from you!

The deadline is in early May. Please submit stuff! We have some good entries already but I want Erol to feel good about the volume as well!

I've sent in my illustration. Working with the metal nib pen again was fun, but I feel limited by my flatbed scanner size. I can't fit my paintings on it  |

That's great! Seriously, send stuff any time up to Monday, we thank you! Unfortunately, time and constraints, as well as lack of talent didn't allow me to enter. I would have needed a lot more time to put together something decent and I'm just not good enough to whip something out this weekend, with all my other responsibilities. Well, I will say one thing, this contest did motivate me to take classes and start learning, and now FO/Knockspell have some artwork of mine in them, so hopefully this is the start of a new thing. I have no regrets in that regards. |

Is this contest going in Fight On! #5? I don't know. How's that for an answer?  It depends on page counts, how long it takes Erol to judge, how long it takes us to do layout, etc. |
