Brennus sets down his weapons and makes a respectful gesture with his empty hands. "I salute you, Brother! Though I must triumph, I will try not to maim you too badly."

His wrestling style is based on joint-locks and throws, similar to judo.

With a background in pit fighting, Magne very easily comprehends what is needed in this room. He straightens up, passes his halberd over to Actæa, then says, "Someone help me out of my armour..."

Matayas is baffled by these proceedings. Are these enemy or not? Where he comes from the only contest is living or dying.

He looks on with deep suspicion, still ready to crack skulls with his mace.

As he looks about he discerns how the room is lit, and what other exits there are.

Matayas, less caught up in the current proceedings, takes a chance to survey the room. The room is lit by four torches, each near, but not rightly within, the four corners of the room. There is but one door in this room, opposite the ring. In fact, it appears as if the ring has been built around the door. There is also an out of place green sheet covering a section of the wall to the left.

Matayas approaches the green sheet for a closer look... if this does not attract any undue attention from the "enemy" he will lift it with his mace so that he can take a quick peek behind.

Adrastos likewise suspicious, nevertheless holsters his blade, and begins to take his armor off as well, stripping down to his low trousers, removing even his boots.

His own style is brutal and ruthless, centering on powerful strikes and painful throws, and is surprisingly mobile; not unlike sambo.

Yngvar laughs. "By the Fire, this should be fun! It's been awhile since I cracked skulls with fist instead of axe."

He begins to remove his armor, setting his axe within easy reach. He fights with simple brutality, relying on the hammer blow of his punches and the bone-snapping power of grapples to deal with opponents.

Actæa helps Magne out of his armour, all the while keeping one eye on what Matayas is up to.

Unarmored and ready to wrestle, Brennus, Magne, Adrastos, and Yngvar are confronted by the three dark-skinned giants. "Come," motions the left-most figure, holding up the ropes into the ring. "Let uz feel the strength of Brennuz' men."

Busy sizing up their opponents, Matayas approaches the green sheet unnoticed by the wrestlers. Closer now, he can see that it is a thin, silk cloth, hung on two pewter sconces to mask a wooden door.

The honorable Brennus cannot bring himself to wrestle an unfair 4-on-3 match. He stands at the ropes waiting for one of his comrades to "tag" him into the bout according to the wrestling customs of his homeland. He shouts encouragement: "Go get 'em, men!"

Magne enters the ring. There isn't a whole lot to his wrestling techniques - it mostly involves brute force and dirty moves... stuff that might be used in a pit fighting ring.

Brennus, Adrastos, and Yngvar enter the ring, preparing to wrestle and sizing up the opposition, the three strong dark skinned men guardian the way to the door.

The left most man stands just under 6ft, the shortest of the three, and sports bulging calves and an a uni-brow. On his right stands a specimen, nearly a full head taller, with arms and hair like gorilla. The one of the left is bald with a large beer-belly, but is none-the-less exceptionally strong and unimaginably heavy.

Your intentions gentlemen?

Actæa, all the while presenting the picture of an interested observer of the wrestling match, continues to watch Matayas. If she can move a little closer to him without drawing the attention of the wrestlers, she does so.

Yngvar will aim a haymaker at beer-belly with a yell.
