"Hurry," says Teregash. "Time is like a river which flows." The blood on his face is starting to dry.
Almost forgot, the Salarvyani have a leech around whose job is to make sure the slaves are healthy enough to work. If Teregash wishes so he can have the attentions of his ministrations.

To recap, Trinesh gets an open helm, a leather jerkin, a leather apron, a mallet and 5 stakes, 11 resin torches, 4 50' lengths of rope, and a mattock to dig with.

Do'olnar is astounded that no one objects to the Salarvayani's plan to hold their kaitars there. Obviously, he intends to retain the funds of any who fall, including those already earned. Still, he ca see no way to demand the kaitars without seeming crass or taking far more time than any of his companions seems willing to spend.
Oh, Exalted Hritsekkash, I do crave a boon. My I use one of the leather aprons and an open helm. And a dagger or two would not be remiss ... and a lantern and a bit of rope. Since I am far less cumbered than those of you who carry massy weapons, I am happy to take more than my share of the necessities.
Additionally, since we venture into danger for the safety of your goods, any eyes or other useful items that we could borrow might be the difference between success and failure.
Do'olnar ducks his head thinking, "Well, if you cast no dice, you cannot win."

OCC: Ok I'm going to let this one slide and assume Do'olnar knows what eyes are, given that he is the ubbermensch of skillz in the party. It is highly unlikely a simple merchant has any or even knows what they are. The rest of the party certainly doesn't
There are no more open helms, Trinesh took the only one; Do'olnar can have one of the closed ones if he wishes. The leathers, lantern, rope and daggers are made available.
The Salarvyani seems to have missed the point of Do'olnar's question...
"Eh? Eyes..? What is the matter with the pair that your mother gifted you with?"

Sorry. The availability of eyes and magic varies wildly from game to game. I didn't mean to cause problems. Consider me punished -- I got a paper cut on the palm of my hand as I picked up my character sheet while reading your post. If I had known, I simply would have asked for any other equipment or items he thought would be helpful that he might spare.
I will take the least obstructive closed helm if I don't feel it will reduce my perception or negatively impact spell casting ability.
Oh, Exalted Hritsekkash, forgive my poor command of this language. I ask for any useful items of which you are aware and we know not, which might aid us in your service.
Then, whatever the response, "You are most generous."

Very well. We want to be in tip-top condition for all the murdering that will undoubtedly need doing!

While Do'onlar sorts out his equipment the leech of the slaves is summoned and attends to Teregash. At first the old man is taken aback seeing all the blood that the warrior has spread on his features in honor of that most cruel of Gods, Chiteng, and taking it for evidence of far more serious injuries than he actually bears. After a cursory inspection he realizes his fears where unfounded and proceeds to use what little mastery he has of the healing arts.
Teregash recovers 1 Hit Point. He is now at 12 out of 14.
OCC: if no one posts requesting equipment I will assume the party returns to the warehouse to begin the exploration of the pit tunnel.

To confirm, I have two extra daggers, the leather apron, a lantern (full of oil), and extra oil flask if possible and 15 - 20 meters of rope. Again, since I seem lightly encumbered, and am sitting in the catbird seat (the middle of the party), I will offer to act as load mule for other party members so long as I'm not too encumbered to cast easily or run like a tiúni with a zrné after it if ... say ... a zrné is after me.
