For purposes of formation, are we saying 3 men abreast to a 10' corridor?
I will allow 3 trained fighters to fight abreast in a 10ft wide passage with spears if they are remaining stationary. If advancing, or fighting with sword, axes, maces and so on, 2 men may fight abreast in a 10ft wide passage.
Use of two handed swords, pole-axes, and similarly sized weapons allows only one to fight abreast in a 10ft wide passage.

Seeing that Rleduc hasn't built a PC yet, and I'm eager to get started, I am swapping SMKSensei in. Rleduc will take his place in the wait list (at first drop).
SMK, you're up! Please post your character in the PC sheets thread.

I've rolled your hit points:
@smksensei (1+2 HD) 4, 4 = 6hp
Yes!! Let's see if this halfling has more than a half-life! The CS has been moved. (and alignment tweaked)
I note that more than half the PCs are AC 9... and have my concerns
Me too , I think our gold reserves took a beating in favor of stats. We may pay the price. I've got a bow so I'm hoping to use the Elven Shuffle, aka shoot and move, to avoid getting into hand to hand.

Alas, that may prove to be all too true.
I'm somewhat surprised the m-us didn't elect to find 100 gp for four scrolls each, and the clerics didn't elect to find 50gp for two scrolls each. Even just a scroll of cure light wounds per cleric might have been "handy", but there we have it!
My thinking was, buy scroll: fix a wound once. Buy armour: don't get hit, survive to second level so I can fix wounds every day.
Perfectly sound thinking!
I guess what I was hinting at was that nobody decided to assigned a high roll to their starting money so that they could afford both armour AND scrolls. Given that a score of 13 or 14 is functionally similar to a score of 7 or 8, it could have worked out reasonably...
