I've mentioned it in another post, but I'm going to give Dwarven Glory a bump here.

Dwarven Glory is a minimalist homebrew RPG based on OD&D, Dwarf Fortress, and Scandinavian myth. As with Tempora Mutantur, The rules are inspired by Simon J. Bull’s SotU Refired, based on the original Searchers of the Unknown by Nicolas Dessaux.

Here's a one-page I did about a year ago. I was stuck in a hotel in L.A. watching Transformers 2 (because I had nothing better to do). But it did give me the insipiration for a giant, intelligent robot version of SotU ---------> Cybermorphs!

Your Cybermorph doesn't level by getting experience. Instead, you gain Hit Dice by incorporating your defeated enemies into your body (represented by a resource I called NRG). You also use NRG to buy upgrades for your Cybermorph, giving you gun-pods, hack modules, more armor, etc.

So, have fun smashing the crap out of some giant robots!

Thanks to the very awesome content on this thread, SotU will no longer be a subfolder of my D&D folder, but it will be a root folder of it's own :D
