OK, I've heard several votes for "moving on" but with questions of "if you want to..." - however, to keep things rolling on - if there are no strenuous objections, then we'll move on by this afternoon.

After making your way through the "dip", you proceed west only for a little distance down the "block" before you come to half of a grand junction, more of a T intersection with the legs going south, west (the direction you're moving in) and east. Spray painting on the tunnel walls indicate the street going south is "South Plymouth Court". There is nothing of note at this intersection.

(Based on your previous comments, I'll continue you west.)

After that, you reach another "dip" and subway tunnel, this one being the Dearborne Street subway, based on your maps and the spray paint on the tunnel walls. It looks similar to the State street "dip" but is more crudely constructed, the concrete being very rough and a bit of a tighter squeeze.

Sam looks about in interest as they work through the tunnels and waits as Lark scouts ahead.
"I think Raspy here is right. There are a fair number of these underpasses and if Smith's information is accurate, we're bound to run into an area that is being guarded somehow. As long as we keep alert, we shouldn't stumble into trouble, right? We should keep looking for now and work off the map to systematically search the whole area."

He flexes one arm and grimaces as if feeling the pain of the knife already. "If we find something more definitive, I can try some of what he taught me."

OOC: Can everyone try to work their character names into their posts, or put that at the top? I'm horrible about linking characters to posters and it's hard to keep track sometimes. Thanks!

Even though Lark didn't overhear Sam's conversation, he's thinking the same thing. And he's also worrying about guards. How would they guard the area? Lookouts with guns, maybe a tripwire and a mine, or worst of all, an ex-Spetnaz with night goggles and a sniper rifle.

Lark thinks about this and continues to sweep the floor with his eyes for traps. He listens carefully and thinks how much better off he'd be if he were hunting deer.

You pass the Dearborne Street subway tunnel and continue west, reaching the Grand Intersection at Clark and Jackson.

Shining your lights around reveals what could be a picturesque set of curving columns and archways, were it not dingy with dust, water and the passage of time. It is still relatively clean, considering.

You hear nothing, aside from a rumble behind you, which sounds much like a subway train coming through the Dearborne tunnel.

OOC: I wish Raspy was worrying about what Lark is worrying about. He's likeley as not to bumble into a trap.

Chicchan heads down the left passage with his night vision goggles on. He'll scout ahead until whichever happens first:
a) he comes to an intersection
b) he travels about 50 yards
c) he spots "trouble" (i.e. armed men or unliving or... whatever)

Once one of the above happens, he'll make his way back to the party.

Lark will move into each tunnel a short ways following Chiccan, with his lamp off.
If he hears any trouble, he will turn on his lamp and move quickly forward to help him out.
