Fated rolls toward Shadow. If his own status is stable, he'll try to help Shadow recover.
Fated crawls over to Shadow and sees massive blunt trauma with possible internal injuries. What specifically will Fated do to stabilize his patient's condition?

Fated pats Shadow's arm reassuringly. "There, there" he says. "There, there."

The Shadow of Evermore's Soul, wandering somewhere between life and death, feels encouraged and fights with renewed vigor!
Shadow and The Purple Stranger roll initiative (6, 2) and Shadow gets the advantage! But his limbs just aren't working right (1d6+1=2) and he cannot coordinate an effective attack. The Stranger (1d6+1=4) has no better luck against the gelatinous Shadow.
The last toad standing bursts with a squelching sound, crushed by ROVERZOID's treads as the robot screeches to a halt next to Shadow. The hatch on its side pops open with a loud hiss of dry-ice fog!
"Get your friend inside the Roverzoid Unit if you want him to live! It will suspend his bodily functions for a time." urges Supervisor Whitman, rushing over to lend a hand.
THE PARTY IS VICTORIOUS over MOR, a 6 hit die Spawn of Shub-Niggurath, and 61 Amphibious Ones! But at what price?
Health check:
Breath: full 1+1 HD Supervisor Whitman: reduced to 2 HD Minion: reduced to 0+1 HD Fated: 0 hit points, conscious but weak Shadow: -6 hit points, at death's door
A quick reminder of the Carcosa healing rules: 1 day of complete rest heals 1 hit point, 1 week of complete rest heals 2 hit dice.

Breath of New Moon pauses, then leaving Whitman to go off on his own she goes over to Fated to check on his condition as well. She'll help him into the Roverzoid if he wants (and if there is room inside and if it sticks around long enough ), entering herself too.

Fated to Die is able to stand and walk unassisted, nothing too strenuous though. He'll need a good night's sleep at least to heal back up to 1hp.
The B'yakhee is alive, too. It's in bad shape, though--missing an arm now in addition to the wing, and covered in slime--somewhere in negative hit point territory. Whitman is folding its lanky, triple-jointed limbs into the Roverzoid (if anyone wants to give him a hand he'd appreciate it) next to Shadow.
Supervisor Whitman shakes his head in the negative at Breath's motion to ride shotgun inside the trapezoidal rover. "No waking mind can withstand the cryonic mists; the hallucinations would drive you mad! It is a good thing your friend Shadow is knocked completely senseless... The Roverzoid is to be used as last resort (alas that it arrived too late to save our Pastor!)"
Meanwhile in the Dreamland... (Shadow's adventures continue in Chapter 9!)

Whitman continues: "I am grateful for your help defeating the squishys and rescuing the b'yahkee. Will you stay here tonight? You can rest safe in our bunker; we have showers, cots, bandages, food, water, maybe a little bit of wine? We cannot awaken the Mountain God in the middle of the night, all bloodied and covered in slime, and ask Him to perform two life-saving miracles! Our friends will keep on ice until morning, then we will visit the Shrine together and ask for His healing energies."
An unexpected gurgle reminds you of a loose end... "Ugh, we forgot about these foam-covered squishies. Looks like 10 of them. We can't leave them like that; the foam will dissolve in a few hours. Any ideas?"
