One Treasure Table to Rule Them All
« Thread Started on Nov 26, 2011, 8:19am »

I put together something that I thougth I'd share. I used M&T only (no Greayhawk) and blended all of the treasure tables into one master table so that you don't have those pesky sub-tables.

All you need is a d1000. ;D

The percents were done on a spreadsheet so they are mostly the same with a few rounding oddities, but I had to tweak numbers a little on the Misc. Magic portion since there are so many items and so few changes to get them. At least the percents to get each major type of treasure has been maintained, even if the individual percents are a little off.

Anyway, I doubt if it's an improvement but I did it and thought I'd share. I picked M&T only becasue I don't like having super-high plusses on my weapons. Maybe I'll do one with Greyhawk to see if I can get it to work.

Very nice work. I rolled a Ring of protection +1, 5' radius. Thank you! :)

Awesome! Rolling treasure with single roll felt much more comfortable than rolling two times while jumping from page to page, even if its just small change.

I'll be rewriting these tables for my own upcoming OD&D game. Thanks, Fin. Nice work. EXALT!

What sort of rewrite do you have in mind?

Just adding a select number of items from the supplements, and making the pages portrait orientation rather than landscape (reads better in my binder).

Impressive. This falls under the heading of something I wish I'd thought of myself. Nice work, Marvin.

I can whip up a portrait version. In fact, here's a Word doc so you can tinker with it directly instead of having to undo my PDF.

Remember, all protection scrolls can be used by anyone! (As long as they can read, anyway.)
