Yeah, let's do that and then see about the jewelry and other things. I'm afraid we might have to go all the way back to Verbosh to sell the jewelry...William will have the cash now to rent a boat so we can travel back down the river more quickly (and more safely, too?).

1200 monster xp /24 = 50 xp each half share

Flandil will loan William some gold if William wants (to keep his followers happy). He currently has ~1700gp plus whatever share is left of the current haul turns out to be (although I'm pretty sure he still owes Mathan 500gp more for the second half of his 2nd-level spellbook). Of course, he would expect this to be repaid and thus wouldn't carry XP along with it.

We could also pay Gallaine (and Carrington, if he's still around?) their anticipated share now, so they can level up quickly in case we meet with difficulty on the way to Verbosh. Everyone else could wait until we know the exact value of the loot once we sell the jewelry.

Jariel also stands to level up, which might be useful on the journey (with another level of fighter, and new combat charts).

But if the jewelry is worth at the lower end of the scale, Gallaine and Jariel won't be able to level up (Jariel also needs an extra 10% so he can give Garfund his share and still have enough to level up).

Leave the coins to be split once you reach Verbosh, and explain to the henchies that they will get paid once they are back in teh capital city?

Hmm, if we have the coins, maybe we should pay the henchmen their shares. That will obviously reduce our shares.

Of course all we can pay right now is 10% of the coin total per henchman...

William will have to pay his henchmen post experience gain from the GP, which will disappoint them...

Ok, so with 40000 in jewelry, and 4095 in gold, to be divided among Kell, Patronus, Jariel, and Flandil, that make 11000 gold each (plus 95 gold to throw a party, replace the wagon and cart maybe, maybe we need to pay the jeweler some (Jariel will take at least some of his share in jewelry)).

William is ahead 720 gold. We also have the potion. I'm willing to let 700 gold slide.
