Seems like at least three of us are going to see King Verbosh after a trip to the magic shop, while Sol does recon on the Spider Temple in anticipation of what we may very well be doing tonight.
Town adventures are great, I haven't done this in years.

You now me. the longer I can keep my fate out of the hand s of the whim of the dice the better for me. Always trying to create the situation of best chance for survival, and if that means spending some time gathering information from every source possible the better.

I do want action in the dungeon now!
But, I also want to see where all of these city threads go.
(I'm so confused! But I'm loving it!)
I say: Let go your franticness and just ride the wave. I'm sure we'll get to the dungeon soon enough.

I don't know if anyone is interested, but...
I have written a web-based application which allows a number of users to create and share virtual pieces of notebook paper. Each user may choose, for each slip of virtual paper, whether to allow anyone else to view and/or update the page, on a user-by-user basis.
For example, I have saved my character sheet there, and I have chosen to share it in read-only mode with all other users, for demonstration purposes. I might also create a page to keep track of treasure, and share it in read-write mode with one or more other users. The options are endless.
Again, I don't know if any of you are interested, but if you are, PM me and I'll give you a password to log in to the program (and the URL to reach it).
It's still a bit of a work-in-progress, but I'm keeping my character sheet online there right now.

Hey, chief!
Having a blast here in the game. I just wanted to comment and say that I really like the way you describe the scene and only then give us the mechanics. I figured I'd punted a save, but then you showed the dice (and they ROLL like my dice...)

Thank you. I figure that in real life you would see the dice rolls, so I would provide them for you. Also, you can draw your own conclusions (like noticing that you hit on a 13)

I just got my character sheet and equipment list written up. Makofan, I added a pouch and subtracted a couple of gold to pay for it and drinks. Also, I was trying and failing to get off a sling shot, not a dagger throw, during the fight. Now that I've got my sheet put together I shouldn't have any more problems like this.

I have no idea if anyone else is interested, but I have written a program (and hosted it on my website) which allows users to create, save, and share (if desired) sheets of virtual notebook paper. When you create a new sheet, only you (and the administrator) can see it; you can then choose, on a user-by-user basis, which users may read or modify the sheet. Sheets not readable by a user are not visible to that user at all; not even the name will appear.
Log in as Guest with no password to take a look at the sheet for Moziah or my scratchpad page. Then, PM me if you want an account created for you.
I wrote it mainly because I sometimes play at work, and sometimes at home, and I didn't want to have to carry my character sheet around with me. But the sharing aspect could be fun...
