Jariel will stand ready with Sleep should something sleepable jump out of the pile of coins or from the ceiling. Also, could you add this new level to the maps thread?

I think we're ready for Yhency to start checking if the room is safe.

Yhency checks floor and ceiling. Everything looks (and sounds) good. William enters the chamber. The floor seems slightly sticky, like an old glue that no longer has its potency. Before him lie the coins and mace

Kell steps in behind William and once he feels the sticky floor, stops. "The floor is sticky and I don't know why." the Dwarf says, "Somebody get out a rope and tie it around my waist and I'll tie the end around William's waist. Then if you have to haul us out you can."

Once the rope is tied to us both, William will take the mace. Then we'll see what the trap is!

The mace feels perfectly weighted, and has a silver gleam that suffuses into the air very faintly.

Yhency frowns, "Hmm... maybe the trap isn't sprung until you remove the mace from the room." He makes way for you to exit in the doorframe.

William will exit the room, holding the mace high. If there's a trap, so be it. If not, the rest of the party will pick up the loot. (William won't take any shares, assuming he keeps this beautiful mace, but will expect his men to get something.)

In that case, Kell says, "Keep hold of the rope, but give me some slack and I'll start inspecting the room for dangers." Kell moves forward looking closely at the floor, ceiling and walls for any sort of danger. After he is pretty sure there are no traps in the room he will say, "Come on in!" Kell will gather the coins for distribution later, unless others beat him to it.

Ok, let's continue East. Unless we want to take our loot and run...
