Adventure #13 - The Crypts for Real? « Thread Started on Apr 1, 2011, 11:26pm »
You decide to duplicate last night's plan and sneak out around midnight. You make it down the well unscathed, and the sewers seem quiet. You carefully sneak down the hall, pass the spider temple stairs, and enter into the secret door room. You trigger the secret door, head into the hallways to the landing, and roll aside the stone door revealing a single file stairway yawning into musty depths

You descend the stairs - 10 - 20 - 30 - 40 - 50 feet. The stairs end at a T-junction. There is a 10'wide, 10' high corridor leading east and west. There is an opening in the south wall at the far east, and in the west, the passage has a door in the south wall after about 30 feet.

The air is extremely musty and still. There is a great deal of condensation on the walls, and the odd puddle of stagnant water oozes on the floor. You have a feeling of great antiquity.
You head east, and peer in the open doorway, to see a square 20'chamber. The passage also continues eastward. Inside the chamber you see a mess of coins spread around, and a gleaming silver mace, untouched by the ravages of time

"Now there is something you don't see every day," whispers Gallaine, and then keeps a careful lookout behind. She doesn't trust it, not for one minute.

Yhency - who purchased all the available holy water in town - distributes 2 vials each to his two henchmen. Then he takes a spear and prods the floor of the chamber directly in front of the entrance (so he doesn't step in). Gonna take this real careful ...
