Heavily armed, and imposing looking, the party heads towards the jeweller's shop. Curious onlookers give you a wide berth, although some urchins and idle hands trail after you a short distance away.
The jeweller's shop is very close to the Singing Mountain Inn, where you are staying. Borack Zope, a cheerful-looking dwarf, is the proprietor of this quiet shop. He has a lot of standard looking cheap rings and jewellery on display.
He appraises the party with a knowing eye. "Ah, an adventuring party with jewellery and gems to sell, I think"

Kell grins through his beard when he sees that the jeweller is a fellow dwarf.

Gallaine pulls her hood up when she sees the proprietor is of Dwarf-kind, and hang back letting other, more Dwarf and Man-like party members make their impressions upon the fellow.

"Well, my friend. These are simple amethysts, worth about 75 gold each. But it is nice to deal with a fellow dwarf, so I will offer you 80 for each." He then picks up and examines the pendant. "Hmm, not bad workmanship, I will offer you 600 gold for it."

Kell, nods and strokes his beard, "I agree with you that it is nice to deal with a fellow dwarf, so I was only going to ask for 90 gold for each of the purple stones. That was the low end of my range."
Kell glances back at the group behind him then turns to the proprietor and says, "I will have to confer with my companions, here, before I can take less than 90 gold each for them."
"For the pendant, though, I think you have made a fair offer." Kell says, but sighs, "Again, though, I will have to talk to my companions as they had their heart set on a slightly higher value."
Kell gives Borack Zope a moment to consider what he has said and to make a revised offer, if he does not. Kell will turn to the others and say, "You have heard the offer, let us confer!"

Boracks says "Ye drive a hard bargain, but 90 it is. Tell your friends about Zorack's, where you get a fair price for your loot." He sets out 11 hand-size pouches, bulging with gold pieces, and counts out 40 more gold pieces on the counter. Then he hands Kell five more gold and says "Drinks on me at the Red Axe Ale House"

Aranthol sighs when the party traipses into his shop. "There goes my peace and quiet," he mutters. Then, in a louder voice, he greets you. "Yes my fine folk, how can I help you today?"
