Gallaine joins William at the Galloping Goblin and spends some of hard earned gold on a quality meal and some fine wine. If there are troubadours present, she will buy them a round of drinks if they will put together a merry tune.
Kell will be returning to the Galloping Goblin after his walk, and he will happily join Gallaine and William for food and drink...ale for him.
Kell will ask, "So, what interesting things did you discover in the city today?"

Yhency high fives Flandil, and offers to send him any extra henchmen once he's filled his quota. (I don't know the OD&D rules on this, but in AD&D a 14 charisma can net you around 6 or so henchmen).

By the book, you can have 5 with a charisma of 14.
That means I can have 4. I really should start hiring...

Gallaine tells Kell she hasn't been to the city yet -- apparently they don't like Elves (or Dwarfs) much. She wonders aloud how Yhency and Flandil are doing, and proposes that we go looking for them.

After taking a sip or two of ale, Kell nods, "S'okay, by me. However, I'd just as soon sit here and drink this fine ale and let them come looking for us."
"Weren't they supposed to return here after their 'business' in the city?" Kell asks then wipes foam from his beard.

Yhency sends a messenger to the inn that Gallaine and Kell are staying at telling them that he and Flandil are staying at the Singing Mountain Inn now. How's that?

Flandil politely thanks Yhency, and recommends the fine meals available at the Singing Mountain while Yhency is waiting for answers to his adverts. Flandil offers to check back at midday, and if Yhency has found enough hirelings he is welcome to accompany Flandil (along with Jariel) as he searches for a 2nd level spellbook. Flandil is offering to pay for pampering at the Happy Lady Bath House at the end of the day for everyone accompanying him in his hunt.
((OOC: Flandil's CHA is 8, so he can have up to 3 henchmen. He already has two bodyguards (with whom however he has not negotiated any terms for other than accompanying him about the city) )).

"Our companions have apparently found accommodations at this Singing Mountain Inn," Gallaine interprets the message when it arrives, "Why don't we join them there?" she asks the others. If Kell is a bit strapped for coin, Gallaine will happily cover his various city expenses...

"If you're paying how can I say no." Kell grins through his beard, "I'd better cover my own bar tab, though."

"Well, if that's where you're going, I'll go as well," William says. "I don't want us to get more split up than we already are. We make a pretty good team."

The Goblin Inn people head into the city. There used to be an ordnance against wearing plate mail (only soldiers of Verbosh could) but it has ben rescinded since the spider troubles began.
At the mercenary guild, there are four ex-soldiers available as body guards at 1 gp/day
NOTE: All these people hired are being hired as hirelings, not henchmen. A henchman would be somebody you are seriously interested in investing time and money in, paying him well and bringing along on adventures
