"Oh hello there little man. You must be one of the Drawf people. So are you a craftsman or a trickster?"
<no offense to anyone but youngest son of a noble and norse mythos>
"Hello, back to you." Kell says scratching his beard, "I suppose, to answer your question, both and neither. There is some craft to what I do and there are a few tricks involved, but little of the first and less of the second. At home, in the mountains, I was apprenticed to a smith...hence the craft and the tricks...but I fear I was less skilled than either my master or I liked. So, with his consent, I have left to seek out adventure and wealth in these lower lands."
Kell stands up. Yes, he is short, somewhere between 4 and 5 feet tall, but he looks broad and solidly built. You would think him very heavy in muscle for one so short. His dark beard merges with his curly black hair which is pulled back and tied in a knot behind his head. What you can see of his arms, which is little as he is wearing a long sleeved shirt under his padded vest, show thick black hair, too. His culotte pants of dark fabric reach to his knees below which he is wearing leather boots. The dwarf's dark eyes look intelligent and sharp even with the massive amount of ale he appears to have drunk.
"And what of you?" Kell asks innocently, "Most humans are farmers, shopkeepers and craftsmen, or so I have heard. What is your trade?"

Patronus notices the elves approach him. "You poor unfortunates. You must be elves. I now understand why the gods granted to physcal immortally as compensation. May I join your humble party so that I may asist you rise above your limitations?"
Flandil gets a good chuckle out of this, smirking haughtily. "But of course, my man," he responds, giving a shallow bow and a flourish of his kerchief.
He turns and says as an aside to Jariel "They are so much like children, are they not?"

"I am the younest son of Baron Pritorious in the north. I am a priest of Hiemdel, a god of law and war. As a son of my lord I have done all these jobs and more in his service as my father is a strong believer of knowing what all his subjects do and how they live. I spent a year apprienticed with many different professions, living with my various masters and their other apprentices."

OK, anybody want to buy any ponies/donkeys? Just double the price that is in the Men & Magic book
Kell would *like* to buy a pony or donkey, but with 20 GP, I don't think he has the money to do so. It looks like he'll be walking...hopefully his longer legged companions won't leave him behind.
