A quick summary of the campaign, and where we are now
The campaign is set in the wilderness area surrounding the City State of Verbosh. After two TPK's in the Verbosh sewers, the new party started off to the NW of Verbosh and did a few minor wilderness lairs for xp. FFilz stepped in to guest DM, and ran a little tower in the wilderness. The PC's now own the tower
I took over again, and expanded the ruins around the tower, based on information I was given. Rather than set off for Verbosh (the ultimate destination for the party) they decided to investigate the ruins of Gorlminder the Great, a huge tumbled down castle with deep undergrounds.
In the first foray they encountered poison wolves and a magical staue that granted boons for 100 gp (1 player gained a level, the other two gained 1 to their prime attribute), plus a nice secret cache of gold. They then adventured in to the goblin maze to the east, which they finally breached due to the treachery of Gunther the Goblin (who is now a PC). Gunther has given an info dump to everybody.
The party has rescued a merchant and his wife, and an injured young magic user with no current spells. They wiped out a few goblin patrols, and are now about to free prisoners from the torture chamber. After that they are either going to loot the treasure hold, or wipe out the goblin leaders.

Note that these goblins operate in threes. They were evicted from level 2, as those goblins work in pairs and thus the triad goblins are heretics

You burst through the south doors, but the guards who should have been there are long gone. There are three cells to the south, and keys on a hook by the door. In the western cell is a dwarf chained to the wall, and in the eastern is an elf. They look in rough shape.
