Flandil will grab the chest once Freddie's net is set up and pull with all his might. He will keep a close eye on the skeletons however, fleeing down the stairs if necessary if they approach him.

Flandil and Zarano lug the chest to the stairs, and William's Turning Power holds. I assume you are shutting the door and going down to level 2, leaving the skeletons pent up in room 3?

((Yes))
Once Flandil and Zarano have brought the chest down the stairs, Flandil examines the lid's lock and hinge to see if the chest is able to be opened. ((He does not try to open it yet though))

The chest is not locked, and finding no traps, Freddie opens it. Inside is an assortment of gold, silver and copper, presumably taken from less fortunate travellers. You take the time to sort it all, and come up with 240 gold pieces, 186 silver pieces, and 668 copper pieces. Emilio does not find anything out of the ordinary in the room, and William realizes that the skeletons are not coming out of the room above.

" Hey guys. I think we should clear out the skeletons above. We can limit their numbers by blocking the stairs and having them come at us. We could then make this tower our base for the area , you know heal up and stuff. Then we could look into the other towers and graveyard that you can see from the roof. Just a thought"

"I do not feel safe with those skeletons still up there, we have this treasure, and we have lost our guide... let us begone from this place, on to Verbosh!" Flandil says of differing opinion.

Freddie looks at Flandil with suspicion in his eyes " You want to make friend with and orc. Then you want to leave undead undestroyed and you want to leave a potential threat in the other towers so that they can attack other travellers? What kind of evil creature are you?"

"Evil?" Flandil laughs lightly, unoffended by Freddie's comment, "I cannot be personally responsible for the lives of every traveller in this land, for bandits are born faster than I could slay them!", he waves his scented kerchief dismissively.
"Besides, this is hardly a trade route, the only travellers here are treasure seekers such as ourselves who know, and accept, the risks."
