Brom does his best to maintain the shield wall, striking with his battle axe when the opportunity arises.
Brom has a difficult time swinging his axe in such tight quarters, but he nevertheless manages to strike the skeleton in front of him solidly, shattering links from his ancient mail shirt.
The skeleton presses his own attack, which implausibly manages to connect, dealing a wound that would otherwise have been superficial (2 points), but which, when coupled with his previously successful attack, proves nearly mortal. Brom staggers somewhat from his wounds -- still alive but clearly feeling much pain.
Seeing Brom's second injury, Eindri shouts, "Brom, fall back, to me!" Eindri doesn't want to see the party lose a valued companion this early in the expedition.

Kroth keeps his dogs on the damaged skeleton. He'll keep throwing rocks unless there's a need for him in the shield wall, in which case he'll take his place, smashing at skeleton skulls with the heavy hilt of his longsword.
Locfir will leave the remaining rocks for those mightier than he and take up his bow again, hoping to score a shot against one of the skeletons in the corridor that might shatter a vertebrae or disconnect a limb.
Knocking two arrows, you fire at the one skeletal warrior still standing in the back ranks. One arrow misses your target completely, but the other strikes it. Seemingly unfazed by this, the creature turns its eyeless gaze toward you, but is fortunately unable to break through the shield wall formed by your comrades.
At the same time, Ursus fires his now-loaded crossbow and also misses his target.

Your dogs remain on the fallen skeleton, which seems to regain its strength and struggles to its feet. Still slightly off-balance, its swing misses either of the animals.
Meanwhile, Brom falls back, reeling from his wounds, and you take his place in the front lines. Once you get there, you see how difficult it is to use a weapon effectively in such tight quarters and your own blow is easily deflected by one of the front line skeletons, which in turn stabs at you with its sword, striking you in the shoulders (2 points of damage).
Nothing deterred, Frere Reynauld continues to subdue his opponent.
Your mace blow is blocked by the skeleton's sword, which it continues to press back toward you. Its point slides between your shield and those of your comrades and nicks you (1 point of damage).
If possible, Bosco attempts to cover Brom's retreat with a flurry of axe-blows.
You quite effectively protect Brom's retreat with a series of attacks that shatter your opponent's shield and smash its ribcage to pieces. The skeleton falls to the floor in a jumble of bones, leaving room for one more to step forward and take its place.
There are now four skeletons -- 1 in back and 3 in front.

Frere Reynauld grimaces, and, in acknowledgement of his foes' ferocity, he uses his shield more cautiously, exposing himself less through great overhead smashes and swings. Nonetheless, he refuses to abandon the shield wall, lest his more wounded comrades be exposed.
Then the templar softly sings with what little breath is spared from his exertions, "O Father Typhon ... lend us aid ... O Mighty Prince ... now lend thine ear ... "

Bosco Hrusp
If the party is able to flank the skeletons at this point by attacking from the eastern door while they're engaged at the western door (or vice versa?!), then we might be able to deal a little extra damage. In any case, Bosco continues the front-line attack.
"Ursus, brother, grab my spear there, or Brom's axe! We need every hand that can to deal a blow to these rattling bastards!"
