[CHARACTERS] PC Roster « Thread Started on Sept 7, 2009, 7:54am »
Please post your completed PCs to this thread.
I'd like them all to be posted here by Friday, September 11, so I can begin breaking them up into two or three parties. With so many players, I don't think having only a single party will work very well, especially if anyone acquires henchmen.
Is there a standard format that you want us to use. How much info do you want? Full equipment lists? Appearance and background, etc.?
No standard format, but I do want each character to have a name, physical description (if only brief), stats, spells (if any), and standard equipment he or she brings into the dungeon listed. Anything else is optional.

Otherworld's character:
Dexter Diggins Human Fighting Man
HP - [4] 2 AC - 3
Str - 9 Int - 7 Wis - 12 Dex - 12 Con - 11 Cha - 13
Plate Mail Helmet Short Bow Quiver & 20 Arrows Sword Silver Dagger Leather Backpack Large Sack Ball of Twine 1 Week of Standard Rations Waterskin 6 Torches 1gp
XP: 35
Dexter is a tall, thin youth of about 17 years, with straw-coloured hair and a whispy beard. He wears rusty, ill-fitting plate mail, and claims to be 'an expert archer'.
Description: Oh now here's a fine looking Dwarf, and charming as hell too! Puggy used to be a bit smarter, but he hit his head while carting around anvils back at the Smithy. Tousled blonde mane, aggressively red-rouged cheeks and black-lined eyes, the tresses of his golden beard are elaborately curled and interwoven with gaily colored yarn and dangly trinkets.
Banished from his clan for consorting with Goblins (can he help it if he actually admires the thieving little bastards?), Puggy feels no need to clear his name and instead concentrates on the finer things in life: wine, women, and shiny things! Desperately needs 10gp so he can buy himself a small silver mirror...

Physical description: 6' tall, 180 lbs, 20 years old, with sun-bronzed skin and hazel eyes. He has shoulder length reddish-brown hair and a long, carefully waxed handlebar mustache that is clearly his pride and joy. Relatively muscular, lithe, and hardy.
Personality and background: Gregarious and friendly, Eindri has always been a hit with the ladies. He grew up the son of the village blacksmith in the settlement twenty miles east of Adamas. Eindri has always lived in the shadow of his older brother, Ragnar, an experienced fighting man who disappeared while on an expedition to Dwimmermount a few months ago. Eindri fears the worst and seeks any information on his brother's fate -- his goal is to rescue his brother if possible, and avenge him if not. This is Eindri's first venture into the larger world outside his village, but he is confident of his abilities, and trusts to the training and knowledge his brother provided him growing up. Eindri's plate mail, helm, shield, and sword were all made by his father. (Eindri is a bit naive, and probably in way over his head, but he should be a solid addition to an adventuring party.)

“It’s slobberin’ time!” Thurston “Thirsty” Brewer Human MU1 H.P.2 AC10 STR 11 INT 15 WIS 8 CON 6 DEX 12 CHA 12 Languages: Common, Elvish, Dwarf, Gnome Spells: Read Magic, Shield, Sleep (probably)
Thurston, or “Thirsty” to his friends is a 25 year old human and looks like Steve Buscemi.
Thirsty grew up in Adamas, where his father and mother own a middle-class tavern called “The Drunken Dragon.” Thirsty grew up there and knows his way around tavern work (including stable). He also knows his way around booze. Like most of the men in his family he is a “working drunk,” but in Thurston’s case he had way too much access to hedonistic materials at too young an age. Although he will imbibe almost anything through mouth, lung, or ear, alcohol is his fave as it is the easiest to get, and quickly satisfies his raging oral fixation. With a liver and his wits quickly getting shot at a young age, Thurston will be lucky to make it into his mid-30’s unless he changes his happily hedonistic lifestyle.
As he is not the first in line to inherit the tavern (has older brother who actually works hard), Thurston decided he wanted to learn the magic arts and enrolled in Wizard School a couple of years ago. Needless to say, he was the party animal on campus. One night recently, sauced with friends at the tavern, Thirsty heard some adventurers talking about an exploration of the famous Dwimmermount area he had heard about for years, and inquired about lending his spells to the expedition.
Thirsty stands out due to the 4 wineskins he tends to have hanging off him under his light cloak. But he doesn’t get smashed “on the job.” In dungeon he just sips whiskey during the day to keep the shakes away. The wine is for sharing to celebrate milestones (clearing that room of giant spiders, finding a new level to explore, etc.). It is all good booze so he double-costed it.
Back safely in town or village, all bets are off as far as being professional, and Thurston’s party cry can be heard echoing out of the inn or tavern “It’s slobberin’ time!”
If the party goes to Adamas, Thirsty can probably talk dad into letting them throw extra cots into a back common room for a party HQ. Probably get drinks cheap too.
(I know – lot of background for a 2 hit point dude who will die from one sword hit or spider bite. But that’s how I roll! Gonna make lemonade from this lemon).
Equip: Middle Class city folk clothing, light or heavy robe depending on season, heavy boots for travel (with nicer soft leather shoes in pack) Wineskin of good whisky (4), two wineskins of good wine (8), wineskin w/water (1) Pack (5) 2 Daggers (10) (one on belt, one in boot) 6 torches( 1) Flint and steel (?) 1 week rations (5)
Equipment: backpack grappling hook Spellbook Ink (2 oz) 2 bottles wine Tent Rope, silk, 50' Mule ("Dorgan") Staff Hand cart Chest Cittern 5 days iron rations 3 gold
Mercando is an itinerant merchant, recently down on his luck. Seeking a new supply of rare goods, he recently contracted with an adventuring party in a fit of foolhardiness.
He is a rail of a man, with a shock of wild brown hair radiating out from a face almost charming in its homeliness.

Flail (8) Helmet (10) Shield (10) Chain Mail (30) Hand Axe (3) 10' Pole (1) Leather Backpack (5) wich contains: *Water Skin (1) *Flask of Oil (2) *Large Sack (2) *Iron Rations 2 Weeks (30) Gold: 18 Total Weight: 930 Background: Long before Ivildir's birth, when his father and maker,Ibpilvidir, finished repaying his own father for the expenses of creating him,he started acquiring wealth to carve a son of his own. After a hundred years of mining and trading with humans, the Dwarf began creating Ivildir,a process that took fifty years, but he was very old, and he realized that it would be impossible to finish his work before his time arrived. Because of this, he tried to finish his son as quickly as possible, because he denied to die before seeing his son alive. As a result of this hasty effort, Ivildir was born strong and hard, because he had been made with more rock than needed, but as a result of this,he would never be the smartest (because of the lack of gems in the carving process) nor the most agile Dwarf. When Ivildir opened his eyes for the very first time, his father made him promess that he would carve a better Dwarf than he was,and that he would finish it,not like him, that couldnt complete the job correctly, almost a sin between his people. Ivildir accepted his maker dying words, and after seventy five years of intensive combat training,he travelled to human lands,in search of wealth and glory.
Physical Description:
Ivildir has eyes black as coal, a black and long beard, and braided long hair . He speaks only when he's requested to do so,and he rarelly laughs, except in combat,as he thinks that the sound of bones crushing is very amusing.
