Just thought I would share this...

... with you, just in case you are thinking the hobby and the old ways are dying.

This is from last week. We are 20 years old, and one guy is 16 y.o. We play S&W:WB, and at least 20 different players have been on my table in the last two years of old school gaming goodness. Sorry if they look a little crappy. Oh, and I used to play MERP and 3.5e, and no one taught me how to play or GM (besides you, interwebz dwelling people). If you see any d8 and d12 don't panic, we use'em just to keep track of arrows, HP and time, we only use d20 and d6 to play. I keep a blog journal (much in the vein of the Ryth Chronicles) of the game, but its in spanish. You can use Google Translate to read it, if you're intested.

Ha! Excellent to hear! Argentina seems to be in the forefront of South American Old Schoolness, too; we had an early member here from Argentina, also a youngster, who went by the name of Zulgyan.

Hey, those pictures didn't show up when I initially read this! Is that a stroller back there? PLEASE tell me there's a baby sleeping in there... Or at least a changeling...

There was a baby back there, yes, but (fortunately!) it isn't mine. It was the daughter of my girlfriend´s cousin who was lurking around at the moment the pics were taken.

I know about Zulgyan, he used to post on a local forum as well, but he left, as I did too, because people there either disregard old school gaming as nostalgia, badwrongfun, or even consider it non existent. Those darned hipster indie gamers, I tell ya...

You're welcome, Austrodivacus and Fandomaniac, I'm just trying to cheer some of you guys up, a little hope for the future, y'know ;)

Awesome pictures. If you know Zulg, tell him to come back, his enthusiasm and insights were always very welcomed.
