The ceiling and walls appear to have been mined out of near solid stone. Whoever wanted to create an opening here, went through a lot of work to make it this, specific spot.
Checking the outsides of the crates for traps, [2d6=3] (low is good for thief rolls, remember) Actæa stumbles upon none. They appear to be no more than wooden crates--at least on the outside.
She then moves to the wooden door, beyond beyond which she is able to hear the sounds of dull whispers and softly clanging metal. Whoever is out there isn't far off. Perhaps the sounds of the battle have alerted the cultists to your presence.

Actæa moves back to join the others. "Company on the other side of the door," she whispers; "and it sounds like they're expecting us. Perhaps a similar plan to our last?" A cool stare at Adrastos; "assuming everyone can remember it this time..?"

Alexandro grasps his dagger at the handle and forms a tight fist, free hand held close to the solar plexus to protect vital areas. Dropping into triangle stance (front foot forward, rear foot sideways), mouth a grim straight line, he makes ready to advance cautiously to battle.
"If you could elaborate on this plan I would be indebted to you," he says to Actaea. "I was, um, otherwise engaged at the time you burst in."

Yngvar will move to attack the figure holding the sacrificial dagger, keeping an eye on the makeshift doors. If they begin to open he will shout a warning to his comrades.
Actæa smiles sweetly at Yngvar; "Assuming you can remember it this time?" she purrs...

"Then I suggest we attempt an ambush in the hall where we rescued Alexandro," Actæa whispers; "Say, two ranks of missile fire, one kneeling, one standing behind? One other to draw our foe out, then duck to the side when the others fire? I would act as the bait, but my lack of armour makes me wary of placing myself directly before an armed and ready foe. Perhaps someone else would care for that honour, say - oooo, Adrastos or Yngvar, perhaps..?

Alexandro cocks his head. "I do have a spell that could be useful in such circumstances. It allows me to make my voice appear to emanate from someplace else. Perhaps that could serve to draw them out?"

Boro nods to Actæa's suggestions. "Although I do not have heavy armor, I have no trouble opening the door and drawing them out. Besides, I have no weapons to use from a distance besides my dagger. Aim well and be prepared for me to attack the wounded from behind."

Actæa takes her place beside Brennus... and then looks around at all the mighty warriors nodding their heads in agreement with her plan while brandishing their melee weapons. "Of course, more than one bow and one crossbow might make my strategy more effective," she sighs. "Perhaps a flanking attack stationed on either side of the door..?"
