We'll be using the 0D&D conversions of GP = 2 EP = 10 SP = 50 CP. Thus...

1 Gold Crown = 2 Electrum or 10 Silver Talons
1 Silver Talon = 5 Copper Drachmas


Attention: I've made the decision to rename Silver Shillings to Talons and Copper Pennies to Drachmas to keep with the flavor of the region.

Hi Tombowings...

I had the impression that there were not going to be any healing spells (since a fortifying swing of wine will do the trick)?

If Matayas does know the secret of this sorcery, then does the last sentence serve a dozen people. mean that one casting will heal 12 people all at once?

FWIW, I would prefer a different spell if I have a choice. Something more wilderness/barbaric/druidic perhaps? It is up to you, of course :)

At one point I updated my spell tables in include clerical spells as well. Apparently, I wasn't think as well as I should have at one point.

How's this:

Call of the wild: This spell summons 2d4 hit dice of nearby (within a quarter miles) animals, vermin, incests, or similar creatures. They will arrive in 1d6 minutes and will provide what assistance they can to the caster, who may impart upon these creatures simple, emotional cues, such "starvation," in which case the creatures will seek out food or "danger," in which case the creatures will react accordingly, either fleeing or attacking the threat.

For the first adventure, Matayas will have 5 hit points and may prepare but 1 spell, as per Men & Magic.

I keep tabs on hit points, gold, experience points, weapons/to hit charts, and those of details in this thread
