Thulean, which of his three spells has Theodoric chosen to memorize this day?

Theodoric Lann, you possess three 1st level spells in a modest tomb bound in shark skin, titled The Alora Victiv:

Evil Eye (Secrets of Acheron): This spell inflicts a single enemy with a penalty of -1 to all attack rolls, saving throws, damage rolls, and morale checks for one hour.

Detect Snares & Pits (Eldritch Wizardry): This is the equivalent of a clerical spell to detect traps, but it can only be employed outdoors. Its duration is 1 hour + level of druid.

Hold Portal (Men & Magic): A spell to hold a door, gate or the like. It is similar to a locking spell (see below) but it is not permanent. Roll two dice to determine the duration of the spell in turns. Dispell Magic (see below) will immediately negate it, a strong anti-magical creature will shatter it and a Knock (see below) will open it.

No often, no. When imagining the city, I think of a mix between Alexandria, Egypt and Baghdad before its original destruction. So silks for the rich, loin clothes for the poor, and very few men wearing shirts (because of the heat).

Walking around in plate armor isn't going to kill you form heat exhaustion, at least not till summer comes around (it is currently mid-spring).

Just so everyone knows, Thulean is dropping out, at least for the time being, due to finals. He may join back in once his semester clears up.

Just a heads up, I don't always post Saturdays. I'm usually too busy cleaning the apartment and baking goodies that evening's face to face game.

This week's game has been canceled, however, due to most of the players (and myself) going to see my a play my girlfriend (who is also one of my players) is acting in. So you'll probably see me around here, but that won't always been the case.

Quick question, tombowings; if I remember my REH aright - (and I may not, it's been a while) - Mitra is a benign deity - the sort whose acolytes might possibly conduct prison visits to condemned prisoners, perhaps?

Or am I completely wide of the mark, or your take on the God different? :)

Yes, Mitra is one of the few benign deities. He is generally seen as the protector of the hyborians, especially against the evils of sorcery and the serpent god, Set.

I have't read anything about prison visits, but I think it would be a reasonable extrapolation of the priest of Mitra, yes.

Very good. Thank you. Does Mitra have priestesses, nuns, vestal virgins or similar in His service?

Actæa's plan ferments... :)

I don't see why not? :) Although disguising yourself as one may be tricky.

No tattoos or anything, but you'll have to "acquire" the correct garb.
