"This man has been greatly wronged and been made to suffer by the Tyrant - merely for a trifling - his family was hung. He has offered reward in exchange for our help, and I for one, am obliged. So tell me friend - is there more justice in turning a blind eye to his plight, than it is to help him...and ourselves a little to boot?"
"Life is suffering," replies Brennus, "and any man, woman, or child who steals from me will suffer a fate worse than hanging! However..."
Yngvar nods in agreement. "Turin here hatched the plan, and we have merely stumbled into it. I will vouch for him, for now. However," he gives Turn and Co. a menacing stare, "should they think of double-crossing us, I will have no problem housing my axe in their skulls. We all help each other, we all get a share of the loot."
"If Yngvar will vouch for this man and his plan, then my proposal is thus: You may hire me as your bodyguard, my friends, for the sum of one copper penny plus my share of proceeds from the venture. I will do my best to make sure we all get out alive, no questions asked as to the purpose of our mission."

"Um...If you say so, Sir," says Turin to Brennus, not knowing whether to be confused or insulted. He rustles about his purse for a single copper coin and hands is to Brennus "Here."

Brennus ignores Turin and refuses to make eye contact. He does not take the offered coin, but instead looks to the other PCs expectantly. "Hire me as your bodyguard for 1 copper penny."

Eyvindur fixes Brennus with a glance. "Meaning if we all pay up, you get 8 coppers. But what do we get if we do not all pay? Not all of us appear to have coin. I've heard of coming along for a share of the loot, but to be hired?"
"If it'll set your misgiving at ease, and allows us to get to work, then I'll hire you" - Adrastos says as he tosses the penny to Brennus.
"Thank you, you are an honorable man." Brennus pockets the penny. "I will excuse myself from the planning of this endeavor and re-join you this evening. I thought I might use the remaining daylight to scope out the Sultan's palace, does anyone feel like going for a walk with me?"
Brennus will follow the written directions to the Sultan's palace and get to know the city better. As he moves about, he studies the ebb and flow of humanity: What types of people are moving around? Where are the wealthy people moving to and from? The poor? The warriors? The police/guards?
Also Brennus looks for a modest tailor where he can clothe himself in the local style (silk pants and no shirt, apparently) for less than 1gp, and if he has money left over for a shave and haircut, he will do so.

Adrastos decides that he will explore the city as well - although he will go alone - losing himself in the crowds, checking the markets/bazaar and observing the Tyrant's palace, seeing how heavily fortified it is, roughly noting where guards are stationed and scouting escape routes and places to hide in case things should get heavy later on.
After any last discussion, regarding plans and what not Adrastos says, "I have business to attend to, but I think we should reconvene here by nightfall, and then get to work. Farewell."

Everyone has now returned to the Burning Lamp, which has become decisively more crowded with the arrival of the dinner crowd. After a bit of sup, it's time to finalize the plans for the decent into the Pelengos Sewers.

Actæa, (after depositing the robes in the secret room) comes down into the bar, all smiles; "A cup of wine, good sir!" she calls to Willin, (assuming he's working the bar).
And to the assembled clientele: "Friends, neighbours! Who's for a song?"
