Any idea when Dragons at Twillight is going to come out? And could you please give me a list of what exactly should be covered in it?

Heh. D@D has been out what? 4 mos now and already there's an itch for the expansion. . The short list is Spells, sample characters, a new character class, an expanded alignment system, maybe some alternate combat tables, rules for overland travel, a cosmology for priests, stuff like that. I will defenetly have it out before april of next year at the absolute latest, September at the earliest. I'm not rushing because I wan't to make sure I get everything in it that ought to be there. So there isn't a compleat list because there may be more to include depending on the feedback I get.
That said, I am seeking input as to what people would like to see and am definetly open to submissions of material if anyone is interested in that.

I love that insanity rules are included, and the different kinds of magic -- making the system less and less like the fire and forget magic system of OD&D. No problem on when it comes out. Just curious because this forum chatter seems to have died off a bit.

Seeing as D@D has become our primary fantasy RPG, I'm really looking forward to Dragons at Twilight. Is this still on your horizon, Aldarron? Are most (or any) of these rules based on your Arneson research?
Your table of contents is already big, but here are two more ideas. 1) It would be nice to give guidelines for determining monster Dexterity (for use with the combat table). 2) Armor saves are very effective. A simple rule for armor damage could mitigate this. We play that an armor save roll that exactly matches the number required to save means the armor was damaged and loses one point of AC.
On a side note, we read your great explanation of using Chainmail to do combat, so we've been using the man-to-man table to run most of our fights.

Absolutely, and yes, there's lots of Dave Arneson in the rules, some more than others. Been a little sidetracted lately in working on some related projects, and in trying to get some decent art for next to nothin. But it will be done!

Great suggestions! Armor can be near invulnerable for high level characters, unless you subtract the bonus given by magic weapons from the armor save. So your superhero in plate mail and shield might have an effective AC of 10 in normal circumstances but only of 6 when confronted with a +4 sword.
I love that you guys are making house rules to make the game suit your style of play.

Will you still be able to get this out when you were hoping?

Yep, think so. It's being proofread now. Presuming no major changes are necessary, the supplement will be available quite soon.
