So I was pondering the idea of other humanoid types on Carcosa. What if the Serpent Men "uplifted" dinosaurs and synapsids to be servants as well. Trying to think of ways to do it that are a little less "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle" though. One of the types I had in mind was a Dimetrodon humanoid. Probably be like a Lizard Man but with a hunched back sail protrusion. Perhaps some have begun worshiping their creators as gods and cultists are trying to resurrect the Serpent Man race.
Anyone else introduced other npc humanoid types on Carcosa?

I would have no problem with introducing any kind of humanoids, turning Carcosa into some kind of weird Arduin or use Carcosa as a planet/plane in any of my campaigns.

There might be specimens that the Space Aliens have brought in from other planets. Some could escape and (with enough initial population) begin to colonize the region. Some of the other aliens from earth UFO mythology could be drawn in also, as servants, allies, or diplomats in Space Alien installations. Squat blue dwarfs and tall fair nordics for example.
Unfortunately my players missed it, but I used an alien pit beast in my last adventure. A large 4-armed humanoid with two sets of eyes, each controlling one set of arms. AC 14, 5HD and makes two attacks. Blue fur and a small fanged mouth

Thinking about creatures like "Species 23750", it would make sense that the Space Aliens might have brought brought their own servitor races.

I have Carcosa and several other worlds linked to my home game world through portals. They're mostly hidden and broken, but there is a chance of creatures from one place getting to another. Carcosans IMG just tend to assume that anything strange is either a mutant, or yet another random spawn of S-N.

I have been thinking about a race of Lizardmen akin to Land of the Lost and West of Eden. In the case of WoE, their Lizardmen - called Yilanè - are the progenitors of the human race, here on Earth, much like how the Snakemen are the progenitors of the humans on Carcosa. I might make them an offshoot of the fabled Snakemen race, but are savage, primitive and still around.

Those lizard men look really cool!
That first pic was just an illustration from the Innsmouth Sex-Ed textbook.

For some weird reason the feral, funky, one-eyed orcs from the artwork in the 70's British version of the Basic set strike me as very "Carcosian".
