Octavia stands guard as Poke attempts to wretch some blades from the Gardening robot, one is oddly shaped. Poke is able to wrench both the strangely stirrup shaped blade, and a good length of the bar its attached to, with a little sharpening it might make a handy pole-arm, and there is also a small trowel which could be rigged into a crude blade.
Roger grabs the mouldering table cloth (a segment that doesn't fall apart eventually revealing itself) and is able to gather about a dozen cans which seem both weighty and intact, as well as a few bits of cutlery, and makes his way to the window as Meat takes his place at the door.
Meat looks into the room and finds quite an odd sight, a mechanical man (like the ones from the clearing), its apparently trapped under a fallen chunk of roofing, the resulting hole visible through the ceiling providing adequate light in the room.

Poke looks for something to sharpen the weapon with, and hands Octavia the trowel. "Paydirt. Let's see what the others have found."

Roger says, "I have salvaged items. I shall retreat from the structure."
Laboriously, he does just as he said.

Meat goes to where the others are, shows them what he found and looks over their goodies. "Anything else?"

Yes, he does. Although after that, he'd be interested in checking out the room with the malfunctioning metal man. Perhaps it can be salvaged.

"Well it sounds harmless enough. Let's check it out. I feel better now that I have something to fight with." Poke smiles and hefts the improvised pole arm. "Much beter.....", he mumbles to himself.

Roger looks up, slightly alarmed. "Going back in? 'Ware that smoke, there was something...strange about it. Here, I will stay. Should you fall, I will attempt to retrieve you. Take extreme caution."

sorry its been a bit, just started a Trig Class, I'll post tomorrow night. Also we may be getting a new player, so I'll probably be getting rid of Octavia (likely by having her stay behind somewhere significant.)

Poke re-enters the Roundhouse through the broken window. The kitchen is still full of smoke, although now its fairly thin, simply blurring your vision rather than obstructing it. As you near the door you can see the flashing lights of the mechanical man in the other room. The metal being continues to wail and thrash, but is clearly trapped beneath a table, the rest of the room is thrashed, with both those pieces of furniture who's purpose you understand, and those pieces you do not comprehend bashed about the room. "Please assist the unit, Please assist the unit" Though the voice is evenly metered its immediacy is apparent.

Roger peers in, holding his breath, ready to assist if Poke should succumb. He ducks back to breathe, then returns to his vigil. His hands roam aimlessly with his agitation.

Meat climbs in and tries to free the mechanical man. If he feels odd or has difficulty breathing, he'll retreat.

There is the occasional cough, but no real difficulty in being in the room, although the beams of light emanating from points on the mechanical man do occasionally flash into your eyes and give you an ever-so slight nauseating feeling from the strobe, still nothing unbearable. Your not able to lift the large table on your own however, you'll need some help.
