I've been meaning to update my character sheet, and would like to persuade y'all that Jochi should inherit the camel Yer Barstard after having helped shepherd the beasts safely through the attack of the shambling dead. If there are other folks eyeing the currently riderless camel (especially now that we may have to flee the Bedouin camp), maybe we can settle it in-character with a game of chance (and OOC on the dice log)?

If Jochi and Rollo want to dice for the camel it's fine by me. Although I'd think Jochi would be more interested in procuring a horse?

Jochi longs for a horse, but sees no prospects for obtaining the coin to buy one without risking the curse he fears will befall those who own or sell items taken from the dead.

Since he believes things freely given as a gift bear no curse, however, he will be glad to let Rollo buy the drinks for a drinking contest (stunt roll) to settle the camel's fate.

Hey all, I got swamped at work, then caught a cold after attending a wedding, and leave to sail the high seas tomorrow. I'll check in when I return.

Sorry about that!

Anyone got any ideas about what you want to do next - do we hit the city again before Nader or wait and see what he does, should we all buy horse or camels etc ?

I'm waiting for Kesher to check in, so that I can keep the timeline at least somewhat similar for everyone. Is there anything those not involved in anything at the moment want to do (Armand, Rollo)?

I kinda guessed this. I just wondered whether we could reach some consensus about what people want to do next (I'm no good with strategy, I jump in and wing it). I may be totally mistaken here for trying :D

I'm ready to go back to the Lost City, and would be glad to see more of us mounted.

I'll continue the game tomorrow even if Kesher doesn't show up. We'll just have to be out of sync for a while when he gets back.

I'm for heading back to the ruined city ASAP as well. Nestor is just hanging out in the tent with his feet up watching the girls walk by.

Hey, all.

I apologize: deadlines at work, sick kids, and now sick me! Yeesh.

I am, however, back. Sorry to cause, in the words of Sir Top'm Hat, "Confusion and Delay"...
